If you ever get this message:
“Error: file: C:/Program Files/Autodesk/Maya2016/scripts/others/expressionEditor.mel line 2220: Object ‘EEmultiText’ not found.”
You can fix it.
- Close Maya!
- Go to your “C:\Users\Your User Name\Documents\maya\2016\prefs\” folder
- Open the userPrefs.mel file.
- Find this line:
-iv "EEexprEdTextEditor" 0
and change the0to1. - Save
- Launch Maya
